Friends 2Lean On Global Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides mental health advocacy, education, and wellness interventions across Nigeria and beyond.

Our work is centered on education, empowerment, and emotional healing through the following initiatives:

Mental Health Education & Advocacy

We design and deliver interactive workshops, seminars, and training sessions that equip individuals and communities with practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm in healthy, sustainable ways. Our programs combine evidence-based mental wellness strategies with real-life coping techniques that participants can apply immediately.

Through guided discussions, hands-on activities, and supportive facilitation, we help individuals build emotional resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and develop healthier responses to life’s challenges—within safe, inclusive spaces for individuals, schools, workplaces, and community groups.

Our Community Food Outreach programs serve as a vital lifeline, providing essential food items and household provisions to families facing extreme financial hardship.

​We believe that providing a meal is the first step in restoring dignity. Our outreaches go beyond simple distribution; they are a demonstration of solidarity with vulnerable groups, by stabilizing a family’s most basic needs, we create the mental and physical space required for them to engage in our empowerment and skill-building programs. For us, a bag of provisions is more than just food it is a message of hope that says, “You Are not alone.
